The following works result from my , en plein air, studies in natural settings. I especially like the texture, and movement of water and air. Colors and textures also abound in rocks and trees, affording endless inspiration and challenges.
Colors and textures abound in everything we see. This collection draws from urban and natural environments, where I have had the pleasure of visiting. Some works draw from real images, some from my impressions and imagination.
Travels near and far afford me muses from: New England's Seacoast, Martha's Vineyard, to Naples Italy, France, Cuba and Guatemala. Israel is my next stop when Covid-19 is under control, and it is safe to travel once again.
Returning to my roots as a designer goldsmith, I have created small gems with oil paint, and oil mixed with cold wax. Each piece ranges in size from 4" to 12"
